Trend Hill Capital has a Conflict of Interest Policy that aims to prevent any situation that could create an impression of a conflict against any client’s interest or that will compromise the company’s independence from its product suppliers. The conflict of Interest Management Policy is available on request.
Trend Hill Capital is remunerated by referring clients to products or services offered by 3rd party associates. At present Trend Hill Capital has agreements in place with Velocity Trade and BCI Fund Rock and Momentum. Trend Hill Capital’s employees do not receive any commission or incentives for such introductions or recommendations until the client has accepted the products offered and has agreed to the fees that have been stipulated in the agreements. Trend Hill Capital does not pay any remuneration to any Financial Services Provider or to a Representative of a Third Party Financial Services Provider.
Trend Hill Capital is insured against claims from professional negligence, errors, omissions and dishonesty on the part of its employees and representatives. Trend Hill Capital does not hold any other guarantees. A copy of the Professional Indemnity cover is available on request.
Trend Hill Capital maintains a fairly comprehensive complaints procedure. Should a client wish to
complain about a service offered that you have received from Trend Hill Capital, please direct your
complaints in writing to the CEO Trend Hill Capital at neil@trendhillcapital.co.za.
Trend Hill Capital will conduct the required investigation into your complaint and will revert to you
with a written response to your complaint within a maximum of 20 business days from the date that your
complaints had been lodged in writing. Where circumstances prevent Trend Hill Capital from investigating
your complaint properly within the above time frame, Trend Hill Capital will inform you and communicate
an extended time frame required to implement the investigation properly. To investigate a complaint
thoroughly, Trend Hill Capital may require additional information from you that was not mentioned in the
original complaint.
If you are not satisfied with the reply received from Trend Hill Capital, you may you have the right to
redirect your complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman for Financial Service Providers.
